The Countdown is on! 

The AT&T Pro-Am golf tournament is an annual event held at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, California. The tournament, which is also known as the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, is one of the most prestigious events on the PGA Tour, attracting top players from around the world. 

The tournament is unique in that it features a pro-am format, with amateur golfers playing alongside the professionals in a team format. The event is known for its beautiful setting, with the golf course's stunning ocean views and picturesque fairways providing a breathtaking backdrop for the competition. The Pro-Am has a long and storied history, with the first tournament held in 1937. Over the years, the event has attracted some of the biggest names in golf, including Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, and Phil Mickelson. 

In addition to the main golf tournament, the AT&T Pro-Am also features a variety of other events and activities, including a pro-am clinic, a concert series, and a charity auction. The tournament also raises funds for local charities, with a portion of the proceeds from the event going to support the Monterey Peninsula Foundation and other non-profit organizations.

If you are in the area during tournament week ( in February), be sure to catch a round or two and experience the excitement of this world-class event. 

One of my favorite events is the Cisco Million Dollar Hole-in-One for Charity event held on Wednesday at The Hay. Last year Thomas Keller won $600,000 for charity by hitting his ball closest to the hole at 4'7".
